14' 10" Runabout called RASCAL construction is plywood over sawn frames, fiberglass skinned for strength and to keep the water out, 1996 Johnson VRO 40 HP outboard and trailer. Rascal is a waterborne "roadster" which reflects the functional philosophy of a sports car design; maximum performance and fun for a given horsepower. Designer Ken Bassett set out to combine the look and feel of a classic runabout with the economy and practicality of outboard motors, highway trailers, plywood and epoxy. He recommends this boat to anyone who would rather drive a Porsche than a Volkswagen. For my part I would rather drive a BMW or a Lotus but that's another story.

Found in Paynesville Vic a boat very similar in design to the Rascal pity we were in the Peugeot, no towbar.
